bigger are a bit later on.
bigger baits get bigger cats.
cant wait..but again still plenty off time..never good hurly in the season.
but the view start hurly.
will bring the kayak there this season and get some view off the bottom to see where are the holes(deaper)sections.
i am doing some rod holders for there right now actualy...its weight donw flat bottom rod holder....dont have to pick them in the ground there..to hard anyway...so will have flat metal plate round wit a bar weld to it.as a rod holder..will be great.

there is less snow then last year.
but it all depend how fast the snow and ice will melt.
speed off melting= water levels.
i sher hope not.
reg level would be nice..
yep still till the end off the month to ice fish...for most species.
and still plenty off ice.

You go all the way to Vancouver Island for catfish?????
What about BC sturgeon, salmon, halibut ? Crabs and prawns.or deep sea fishing.
I just dont understand going there for catfish.
There's an island on the Ottawa River called Victoria Island. The Portage Bridge runs over top of it.
