Big Fish Tale from the Winnipeg River
Big Fish Tale from the Winnipeg River
I received this in an email this morning. I can't vouch for the authenticity of the story, but boy, it this a big fish or what?
This is the new record in Canada. He caught it on the Winnipeg River, by Seven Sisters, in Manitoba. Check this thing out. The last picture is unbelievable. This guy (in the photos), was fishing and caught a 36lb. Pike. As he was reeling it in, a 56 lb. Pike tried to eat it. He brought them both in on the same net. Awesome catch on a river in Canada 55 lbs, 56 inches. It goes to show you that live bait works the best for the giant fish.
Cheers

Actually from Holland. But the proof is in the pudding. catch and release really works!!!!!!!!!! It's been caught in a couple of different countries so far. And it's always by the same guy.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

This was a first for me. I just couldn't get over the size of that fish and had to share.
No problem, I don't blame you, others have done the exact same. In my opinion, it is better to contribute something that you think others will like especially when it is a fish like this. Besides it is always exciting to see the new place the guy in the picture has been fishing, so we can steal his locations. (joke)
