Are you looking to go that far from kingston? If you are closer to kingston there are some good back lakes within 20 min of kingston that hold all of those species you are looking for.

The ice on most lakes in the area is just starting to get good. Yesterday on Wolfe there was about 3 inches of good black ice on the west side, the east side you can only get out about 100 yards before it gets thin. It can be a decent lake for walleye. Eel Bay off of Sydenham lake is froze up pretty good Ihave heard and it can be good for pike crappy and perch. As for Loughborough the north side should be good now, the south side (trout side) is a no go. The local firefighters had to pull a guy out from falling in last week. My buddy who lives on the South end said there is hardly any ice at all.

There is no ice on Mink Lake at Eganville. I would stay away from it.

Some of the small back lakes in the Kingston area had up to 6" of black ice, but that was over a week and a half ago. Not sure about now with all of the rain and warmth.

I just checked the Dog Lake Splake area on the way back from Kingston. It is frozen over but I would not consider it safe yet - at least for me. I did not even get to where I like to fish for splake. I don't know about the pike and crappie areas of the lake though.

Was on Davies hole(part of the depot lakes) yesterday 12" good ice no problem for a 4 wheeler. Would assume the ice is thik enough for walking on all the depot lakes......
