All in A Day on CBC

Now this is exciting stuff, at least it is for me who has never been on radio before.

The All in a Day Show with Brent Bambury on CBC Radio 1
(91.5 FM in Ottawa)
will be interviewing Bobber and me next Thursday May 20 at 4:40 pm.

We'll be talking about cooking with French Wine and azaleas...just kidding...we'll be talking about this community that has developed around fishing here at Fish-Hawk.Net.

I am curious. Am I the only person who listens to CBC? :?:

Does anyone else listen to All in A Day at 4:00 each week-day?

The CBC has a radio station??!??

Seriously though, I'll probably be in the car somewhere around Deep River at 4:40 next Thursday as I drive up to Lake Nippissing for a nice 5 day fishing escape. I'll be tuning you in, so make sure that you have some good Walleye Tips to share 8)

I listened to CBC Radio 1 just once.

And that was because I was on (pre-taped) and they paid me.

Another small step toward fame and maybe fortune? :D

Hawk...I must admit that I have been listening to CBC a lot lately. Started with the morning ride in and now I leave it on for the ride home. Will be listening for you guys next week.

Oh to be famous...

Always watch CBC in the evening for the news but I'll make a point of listening for your interview. When you guys are famous will you still talk to us?

You know, sometimes I'm forced to listen to CBC radio. Seeings as how it is one of the two radio stations the people get up here. The other is Wawatay Radio which plays a nice mixture of terribly outdated dance music and old Indian Men and Women screaming to the beat of the same drum.

Think worse than Chris in the morning on Northern Exposure.

But I sure hope I can tune into you lads up here.

Later :D

I get teased all the time from my collegues at work about listening to CBC radio....but then again, I tell them that I am the more informed of the lot :D

Good to here some exposure for the web site. I am sure that everyone has learned something from everyone who regularly participates!!

Thanks to you all for your past help/suggestions!! :)

:D So you're getting an interview on the CBC... Great stuff.

Don Cherry and fishin' just seems to be a natural combination, and besides, I'll bet his ties could catch fish.

That makes you and I both, TheHoser. I just got tired of the Maison D'Our guy in the advertisement screaming

"WHERE DO I BUY THE RING?"

...and the next thing I knew I was listening to Brent Bambury and the news with Laurence Wall. And I am informed and my nerves are less strung in traffic.

me too
