Hello again, haven't posted much since the spring here. Was finally able to get some time in yesterday after a nutty week. Thing is in years gone by once Oct arrived, I pretty well hung up my rod for the season, but after seeing my dad and others getting bass and perch well into November figured I may as well give it a shot.
Anyhooo arrived at the scene of the crime and it wasn't long before the perch showed up, and it was non stop action for 3 solid hours! Sometimes I'd have double headers, sometimes not. Minnows were the bait of choice.
What was interesting to see, was that I noticed an small injured perch thrashing in the water, next thing I know I see this huge boil of water and the perch quickly disappeared!!
In all I brought home 30 decent perch
