I was shocked a few weeks back to have a very large pike follow my jig in....biggest pike I've ever seen in this neck of the woods...mid 40 inch fish...thick too...
Markus can vouch for me...my reaction was..."WTF was that?...wow..that's a big pike....and no..you can't have my jig"...

Ya the Striper is very recognizable...I've had the pleasure of spending many hours aboard it myself....
I'm glad to hear you are actually out using it....one of Mark's fears was it wouldn't be used by whoever picked it up....
Any of the deeper trenches at Skrat should yield you some lakers....find the smelt...and you've found the lakers...

Muskrat has some great fish. Here are a couple of stories written from some Adventure Weekends we did on that body of water.
Great Bass (Large and Small), good sized Eyes, and big Lakers if you can find them. As Markus or RJ said, the Pike aren't too big, but there are a few larger ones in there. They stole about $50 worth of my jigs one day.
Check out the Laker and Eye in this story....<a href="

This was October and the smallies were on....<a href="
