ice conditions hay bay/near perfect view cottages

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

All I can tell you is that there were many boats in the water on the bay this weekend as well as a lot of shorefishing happening in areas around the BOQ. All ice-guides that I know of have cancelled out until further notice.

Its starting to get colder here now. But are snow is gone and it has been crazy warm here for the last 2 weeks. Last time I fished 2 weeks ago just before the warm spell that area had 6 - 8 inches of good ice with little snow on it. best to ask the bait shop or perfect view. www.quintefishing.com

Hay Bay Ice

I don't think you'll be ice fishing on those days.

A friend (BayBoy) has a post on Quintefishing.com after he visited the Shermans Launch Ramp today.

Lots of open water.

It might be a while before we get to fish on ice.

Stay Tuned
