Major snow storm on Sunday.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Major snow storm on Sunday.

Post by Big Bass 444 »

There should be a major snow storm on Sunday. I'm not sure how much snow we will get but it should have an impact on ice safety at different locations. With all the weight on the ice watch out where you go....and don't go alone!

Thanks BB444, good advice. Snow on the ice is not a good thing.

Be safe.

just back frome fishing and there was aprox.10 inch off snow on ice..so one more foot and make this to 2 feet off snow on ice..wow

this is major probleme......what a great insulation=no tickening off the existhing ice.... :x  ..or very slowly.have to be extremely cold. :? .

been a long time i did not see snow like that before Xmas......think we will have a white X mas this year......  .

I see some $$$ in the eyes off ski-doo shop and ski center.. good for them been some hard years for the them in the past cople.

like it been said before safety and safety.wit more snow(weight) on ice....we dont see what is under that tick snow cover.

let see just some happy report.no bad accident.

Another concern with all that snow on ice is the light filtration trough the ice. It will sure have an effect on fish movement , remaining living weed lines and bait fish.

Yes 30-40 cm tomorrow day and 10-15 tomorrow night. So if we get a few more then they predict we will get over 2 feet of snow. I guess we can plan on staying home untill Tuesday. :)
