for those that don't 'hard water' fish

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

For me it's downhill skiing. You've got me beat, I've only been skiing for 22 years :)

I also tie flies during the winter months.

I curl up into the fetal position whimpering until I feel the first signs of spring, I HATE WINTER   But I will ice fish if invited, inside a shack or something to be warm.

for those who do not hard water fish

Hi,
My two passions are fishing and downhill skiing.
So now that it is snowing, I finally took the rods and tackle box out of the van last night.
My wife is taking some courses this winter so will not be available for much skiing
Anyone else interested in skiing at Mont Tremblant?
tickets can still be bought for $48.00 if purchased real soon.
That is much better than the regular price this year of $75.00

I'm with Badger.
Maybe we should form a "whimper All Winter" club. :D
Apart from the whimpering, I do a complete tackle cleaning, rods, reels and baits., then I sleep until spring.

Hard Water Sucks!

Post by Abraxus »

Joco isnt supposed to be responding to this thread....that dude has been wishing for ice since June! hahahaha

Myself...I love to ski, but after living in B.C. for 11 years and now living in Toronto, I cannot even begin to tell you what a let down the hills around here are. I would have more fun on them if I used a crazy carpet! Thus, I rarely if ever ski anymore.

Other then that, I work longer days, spend more time with the girl friend, there by making up for the many weekends I am away in the summer. I try to make her so sick of me in the winter months that she will have no issue with my being gone almost every weekend of the summer!

I attend the annual boat show, fishing show, and outdoor show. All three of which are like torture in many ways, but what else really is there to do?
