:) PD day and a personal best muskie!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

:) PD day and a personal best muskie!

Post by Jonathan »

:D :D The teachers had a PD day today so I headed to Lake St Clair with dad to try for some muskies. I was first up and around 9 am the reel began to sing. The water was murky so I couldn't see the fish ,but I knew it was strong. Then when it got to the boat Dad thought he should have brought the bigger net. We ended up landing my biggest muskie yet at 48". A couple of quick pictures and it was released.

Jonathan, that is one awesome Muskie!! :D I know I've been waiting to catch one, and from what I read, so are quite a few other guys here. Thanks for showing us how its done and what it looks like to hold one of those. Congratulations. How are the arms feeling?
