I am heading to crotch next week and was wounding if any one has been on the lake lately? Small mouth fishing is always a good time but was woundering if any walley have been hittin the boat lately?

Last I heard they were catching walleyes, and bass is always good, i will be up the 2nd week of Sept. post how you do, I would say to jig the humps in deeper water and trolling in the late evening always works for me this time of the year and smallies on deep water points, If its real calm use top water lures over these point for big smallies

I was at Land O'Lakes lodge three weeks ago, my first trip there and really enjoyed it. Got a guide which helped tremendously. But as Blackbear said, jig the humps and troll in the evenings.
