Well gave "get the net" a jingle last minute to see if he was down to go for a fish on my grandparents lake outside of Renfrew.

We met up at 9 am and arrived around 10:30. Before even steppin into the boat we spot about 30 LM's off the dock. We untie the boat and start drifting. The tructure on the lake is downright awesome, the first ten feet of water is decends with a shollow grade, after that its almost straight down. With the gin clear water we could spot fish deeper then 25'.

To make a long story short all of our fish averaged around the 1lb mark. Got a few bigger and a few smaller. Missed a few 4+'s under floating swim [platforms over deep water. Also tied into some monster rockbass. We fished all day and where well rewarded. Senko's and dingers did the trick

Did i mention we caught 119 fish and 110 of those where LM's

It must be nice to have a grandfather with his own lake. I would love to fish a private Bass lake.

Thanks again,

Matt

I know one lake like that in the Renfrew area, no motors allowed. Really rough access, but on my last outing there. 50 LM in 2 hrs. A fish would throw the bait and another would grab it before it hit the water. most bass were 1 lb but there were a few 3 lb +. Congratulations on a fine outing.
