anyone know where I can get some bank sticks?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by Eli »

I'm looking for 2 bank sticks. The kind that you can screw in an electric bite alarm in the top.
I know the carp club at long sault has them, but I don't want to make a special trip out there just for them if I can get them closer to town.

Thanks. :)

I'm not sure what you are talking about here but it sounds like something worth looking into. 8) I would be interested in knowing where I could go to look at these. :?: sounds like they would be great for night time bullhead fishing.

I've considered getting a rod pod but there's no point because we're only allowed to fish with one rod at a time

You can kill as many carp as you want with a bow and arrow and you're not obligated to keep any of them, but god forbid you should fish for them with more than one rod and release them all back alive! Gotta love the joke that is our MNR.

I personally found it quite easily, courtesy of my ex-wife.

I had to go and lose 50% from a withdrawl from the BANK.
While she continued to STICK it to me! :x

I'd avoid THIS particular combination and always remember the words Donald Trump told to Paul McCartney; WHAT!?!?!? You didn't have her sign a prenump?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

43 million bucks can draw up a lot of prenumps...Hmmm, somehow I feel a bit better now, comparatively.

OH, and just for sake of annoyance...Still like your burns Wolfman, share your trade secrets with Badger, willya?

Yes, useless post, with little value. Sorry. I'm easily amused at times.

I dont know if you have had any luck in getting these bank sticks yet.
But if you are having difficulty in getting them over here give me a shout as soon as possible as I have a relation coming over at the beginning of May from the UK and I could ask them to bring me over a set.

I have a 'Pod' and bank sticks for my alarms,I have to admit that I have found bank sticks far more practical over here, due to the bankside terrain.

Ill be getting a few more bits for my carp fishing exploits brought over,so it will be no bother.

Let me know ASAP

Cheers

Thanks for the offer, brit. A buddy of mine will be picking me up a pair in long sault.
