hey guys ... anyone know if there is ice out there still? is it worth the drive?

Stopped by Shirley's Bay yesterday to have a peek........guys were still drivin' out there........talked to a couple of 'em and they tell me there's still 24" of clear ice. .....but.........STAY AWAY FROM AREAS WITH CURRENT!
I'm a goin' fishin', mama's goin' fishin' and my baby's goin fishin' too.

I was just outside of Buckhams Bay yesterday and it was still 2' of solid ice. Perch were on but that's it. I'll be out there again tomorrow. It's gonna go fast this week though.
