Baitcasters Derby

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Baitcasters Derby

Post by bts »

Anybody fishing the Baitcaster Derby. Crystal and Mike always put on a great derby. Hopefully see a bunch of you there again this year. Be careful out there as this is sure a weird year for ice quality.

Derby

Post by bts »

No problem Zort :D
The derby is this Saturday. Don't drive your truck across the lake though. Call me on my cell and I'll come and get you 613-222-0017 :D It has been proven this year on the Mississippi that Fords don't float.

Hey Steve

if you are going to spend a day with WIG and BTS in a shack, you better sharpen up your chess skills

Coyote wrote:I'm thinking of going as well, so the ice is still not safe yet, uhmm i drive a chevy, do they float ???i don't know if i want to find out, maybe mike or crystal can drive us out to our spot and pick us up, for a fee of course, just seems like a long walk out and back, and if you catch a fish its walk all the way back to the baitshop, is there anyone going to be fishing close to shore or around the launch area? I just don't want to walk to work if i put my van in the lake.
Dont think I'd be asking Mike

Not going to make it this year, I'll be on Nipissing this weekend
Good luck guys always a blast there

I'm sure if the people involved wanted to be identified on the internet they would have done so themselves...................... Just something to think about.................
