doing quinte with eyetracker sat 25

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Allan,
It was nice to take you out fishing for a half-day, I was glad you said you wanted to catch big fish vs. numbers of fish. I managed to stay on the big fish pattern the rest of the weekend by fishing away from all the boats and in 30 FOW. Hope you can use some of the tips on your local lakes and I am sure you will remember how simple of a setup will catch nice walleye.

I will post a picture of your 12.11 tonight when I get home.

Congratulations Allan. Those are pretty good numbers.
You could not have picked a better cruise director. :D

Can't wait to see the fish.

I met Sheldon at the launch, and he gave me some good tips on how to rig my boards, and I got to see those sweet G loomis rods he has. Going to have to get myself one of those rods, not just for quinte but I can use it here with my leadcore for eyes.

NIce to meet you sheldon, and thanks for the tips.

Thanks Guys...
Was great to meet everyone...I will put together a little article on how to modify the Offshore Boards to work with the snapper clips.

The G-Loomis 941 trolling rods are the best I have ever used, as they allow you to run lead-core, in-line boards, bottom bouncers, snap-weights and long line troll all with a single rod. This was a great savings as I no longer had to have 3 or 4 rods for each of the techniques.

Lets hope we get a few more days out on Quinte before the snow/ice makes the ramps and roads to dangerous to haul or boats.
