Best Lake near Toronto

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Best Lake near Toronto

Post by Ben Daniels »

Me and my dad are planning on going up north for a weekend of fishing. But I can't decide what lake to go to. We will be renting a boat so we wont have a depth finder. We like fishging for bass and pike. What lake should we go to? It can only be 1-3 hours from toronto. I was thinking Simcoe. With all this in mind...any suggestions...

i'd rent a boat from Quinte somewhere....whether it be Baycrest on bigbay or Bayview on Haybay.

either will produce bass, pike, and walleye....

if your looking for scenery, i'd go up north somewhere....but i prefer fishing as my number one factor in deciding where to go....
