Great Day on the Ottawa River

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Great Day on the Ottawa River

Post by Seaweed »

I had the distinct pleasure of taking out a relative who was in Canada visiting from England. We got skunked two years ago so maybe we did so well today to make up for that.

Did you know that in Britian you have to wait like four or five years to get a fishing license and then pay through the nose just to fish.

My relative wants to let us all know how lucky we are to have the fishing we enjoy. I know that I appreciated it today for sure.

I will be out again today with the Bother-in-law.

Personally I think the lunge are on the feed. I have seen three different postings this week with muskie being caught. The water temps have dropped to just about seventy degrees and should continue to drop. This usually turns them on.

Come on big fish.

Will post results later.
