Hot Fishing

Well despite the heat it was a great day on the water.

I hit Clayton Lake for a pre-fish for a tournament later this month.

The day was slow... my bilge pump wouldnt work and the boat had a ton of water in her from last nights storm. Too lazy to re-trailer her and drop the plug so I would live with it.

The fish were co-operative

Caught 3 good bass one nice 3.9 on scales.

Two monster pike... I didn't know they had pike that big in that lake.

Had to pull the plug when the heat got too much at 2

All in all a great day.... thank God for the stiff breeze all day and the frozen water I had with me. Kept me fresh between battles with the fish. 8)
