Where to fish

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Where to fish

Post by walleyejohn »

I have been fishing the Ottawa River from the north end of Deep River up to the Swisha for about ten years and always fish the same spots. Does anybody know of any good walleye lakes in this area? I mean we do fairly well here but would like a little change of scenery. Does anybody know where Corry Lake is?Is this lake good for muskie? We will be up ther the last week of June, any suggestions?

Have you looked at Lake Nippissing or Trout Lake not far from it? If you're coming up from Maryland, those are options. In fact, your options are countless.

Lake Nippissing has every fish you could want. Just google it for more info. Hope this helps.

I used to go to a lake on the Quebec side for opening weekend. It's about 60 miles from the Swisha. But that 60 miles usually took us 5-6 hours to drive it, rough road.

But the fishing was worth it. If you want info PM me.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!
