Live Bait (Worm's/Minnow's) Kingston Hiway 15?????

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hi mdej,

There is a bait shop in Seeley's Bay. I believe it is just off highway 15. They sell minnows, worms crayfish and frogs.

Hope that helps,

Canadian tire sells worms in kingston, Kind of out of your way though, but bigger than any I've wild caught right now, less than 2.50 a doz.

There's also a place in battersea i think, he sells minnows, its out of his garage, have to look for the signs as I'm not sure of the address.

Mark's bait shop in Battersea. He He has mud minnows, shiners, small, medium large, you name it. Open 7am to 4 PM everyday, year round.

From 401, take Montreal st exit and go north. If you come to "downtown" Battersea, you've gone too far. He is in a curve just before the village. You can then take Burnt Hills Rd , across Brass Point Bridge and back to Hwy 15. Hardly a detour at all.

Wow, thanks guys. I will look into the Mark's Place.

I'm not 100% sure the Seeley's Bay bait shop (beside the launch) is open this time of year. Its handy so thats where I go in the summer.

Google Maping the path through Battersea now.

Well if you google map it, follow Battersea Rd (cty rd 11). Zoom in to the third level from the top. He is between Lary York Rd and Noble Lane.

Well, Went to Haskin's Point Marinia in Seeley's Bay. Not a bad store, he opened May 1st. No minnows till next weeks pike opener, but got some good conversation to ride out the rain and some good sized worms.

Minnow's will be in at Haskin's next weekend for the pike opener.

Stoped at the place in Seeley's Bay on Main St. The house, minnow's were in, but price was too high for me. Said no thank you and left.
