April 22nd Report (Pics)

Yesterday Sleded & I headed back to our favourite catfishin' spot as the fog rolled in. I tried carp while he fished channel cats, lots of carp rolling but none hitting for me. I did score a huge bullhead but thats all. Sleded caught one nice channel cat before the day was over.

Anyways I got a couple pics.. the first one is when we went fishing for bait (suckers) at the local creek I jumped on top of the waterfall and snapped a pic.

Then the 2nd is Sleded's nice cat. Another good one man keep it up and you'll win Fishmaster's derby!

Not a huge one but a great fight.

Well another great day/night out there even though the fishing was slow.

Great job BBR and Sleded. Bet that cat gave a good little fight. I'm getting antsy now for catfishing.

Salmon - it's unbelievable. After we tried the new technique we started getting big cats every time. Haven't caught one under 6lbs, and they are hitting like mad most evenings. Had a couple of slow nights recently but with a little rain and warm weather there will be a fresh run coming up no doubt.

I see Sleded donned the "Kitten Mitten".
