Conditions on contance bay and otawa river?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

That avatar gets me everytime Pat!

Hey Dave, Kev mentioned you might be hitting Petrie on Friday, not sure if that's still a go or not... 'bout 9" of ice on Bait Shop/Walleye Bays and 12" or so on Crappie Bay. This warm spell will likely muck things up a bit but you can definitely keep the canoe back at the ranch.

It's getting thin again at my place. I was out yesterday afternoon just outside of Buckham's Bay and was surprised to see it was only 6 to 8" thick and with a much stronger current. It was 10 to 12" thick on Sunday.
Lot's of slush along the shore too.
