Hey Joco,

Let's hope everything is ok. I've seen them do underwater rescue drills there in the past at the culvert.
I wonder if a vehicle has went through? Saw a ton of them at Walleye and Baitshop Bay last week, and I wonder if the ice still isn't thick enough to support all that weight in such a confined space.

Got the fingers crossed that every one is safe and sound.

Good Fishing,
Justin

I can't say for sure but there were two engines and 2 supervisor vans at the far Crappy Bay parking lot near the main channel. Didn't see anybody milling about and I didn't give it a second thought. I figured they were on exercise like last week. There were no police present so I doubt there was an incident.

Thanks for the heads-up, Ransom. It's been real slow down there as of late. And as for those damn Honey Worms - those are all I usually ever use for crappie! :? Seem to work alright for me..

Might give it a pass tomorrow....

Is there a chance someone can win a vacation to the Bahamas to stay with Nassau Frank?

Glad sounds like nothing serious at Petrie.

I saw the firefighters last weekend also.
They were doing a practice , we would've heard on the news.

Hey Marko
I have seen them many times down there training, really cool 8) to see them push the zodiac in the small stretch of open water by the culverts jumping in/out of the boat in the wet suits, I too the first time I saw them down there though some moron fishing near open water ran into trouble. Nice to know that they are on the city payroll and ready to save lives!
I take our work boats to the same depot they do and man those inflatable boats are well equipped with the best Lowrance finders money can buy gps all the bells and whistles.
