The Flounder Pounder Jr.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

The Flounder Pounder Jr.

Post by Graembo »

Well finally got some time to snap some shots of the ongoing task. Here she is in all her might: finished dimensions: 46"x72" (fits flat in a shortbox)

(Beauty paint accent of course)

The crappies are sliding plexi vents (completely "mitt-operable"):

Packed Down:

Still to come: weatherstripping @ the door, a latch & something on the skis for the manual pulls. Tow bar for the skidoo is in the process too, 3/4" gas pipe.

Total investment for materials = $60

G

P.S. Flounder Pounder Sr. to come next yr...her measurements will be 4'x8'..(fits in a real truck bed 8) )

P.S. A little more than 60 bucks into it... (Graembo wouldn't know as he put the man hours into it, I put the material into it).....

Not everyone drives a short bus.. I mean long box....lol

If anyone wants to know, material used is painter's canvas (drip sheets), sewn together, and painted with canvas waterproofer (from crappy tire camping section)...

Mr.Heater - Portable buddy ordered off eBay today. 96 bucks total including shipping.

I'd like to give my roomate an A+ on the finicky art work he put into the windows and air vents... Good work G!

:) Sweet job.

That shack is class from the bottom up. Excellent functionality and a great paint job.

You'll be putting a few in the net with that one.

Monetary support... c'mon man I helped with a little labour too.(not much though I admit).....lol... I think I did a bit of painting... now that I think of it, you weren't even around when my Dad and I started to build it.. haha.. but I guess I wasn' around either when you and my Dad almost finished the construction of it...

This hut was the experiment... The Flounder Pounder SR.. will mirror the JR, but construction will be slightly different to keep the weight down..
