What is the logic behind moon phases affecting fish feeding acitivity?
Has anyone actually found it to affect their success on the lake?
I just looked at the link regarding this on the homepage and looks like this weekend is rated as "POOR"

Don't let it stop you from fishing this weekend....
I think a great moon phase can easily be trumped by a cold front....high winds....or very unstable weather in general....
I've had some great success during peak times....but I personally don't plan my trips around it.....

I would totally believe moon cycle predictions if every fishing day was the exact same from the temp, to the clouds, winds, waters and bees buzzing, etc.
Like RJ says though, these other factors hold merit as well.
Think about moon cycles like this, they affect many things we know of like the earths tides and so then quite possibly much of oceanic life geographically. Also, women, that much like the moon runs a 28 day cycle, so does their uterus, ovaries, hormones and quite possibly you're being allowed to fish at certain times of the month. Also, in my profession I can honestly tell you, (and my father working with police will agree) that a full moon does have it's followers of lunatics. People are more active during certain phases, much like animal life. This is not BS. Barometric pressure can play on our energy moods as well, just like it does the activity of much fish. But again, the moon cycle it's a known contributor to much of how life on earth is governed.
Ohhh yeah man, the moon cycles do hold merit in the circle of life.
