Spent 3pm yesterday until 3pm today fishing bass, walleye, musky and pan fish throughout the night, morning and afternoon. LOL The fishing was slow but every bass caught was a keeper "tournament wise" Lots of Rock bass caught and jumbos too.

Before it got dark on Sunday night i headed to my favorite largemouth spot. It wasn't long until Rich started to get hits on this sum frog! I ended up doing the one to punch with this and pitched a senko in to catch this big girl. This fish was 19" and FAT biggest Little Lake bass i have caught and seen out of water.

BBR "Rich" lost one walleye about 15" or so at boat side. If we weren't hungry we would have ended up fishing that spot to death! It was perfect and the next day well asking locals at docks about walleye they told us to go to the exact same spot! When we Finlay made it back over to that end of the lake 3hrs had passed and it was around 4am the walleye bite was off.

We then moved to lighted shorelines near bridges and casted buzz-baits and chug bugs. Rich was soon rewarded with the biggest smallie i have ever seen out of little lake! Just after he told me the spot was going to hold a big largemouth!!! Image

After light came and we found out that with the clear water smallie fishing was very hard. Out on my normal spots i could see fish everywhere but it was so clear that there was no way to get them to smack anybait.

We then changed to fishing musky see 7 in total and had 4 of them follow.,with no strikes. I think that i am going to get some MONSTER plastics to try this fall here. All we had to do is go slow on the trolling motor to find musky they were laying everywhere in 3fow. The Musky have moved in "Shallow" but they wont hit just follow or turn there head to take a look at your bait as it goes by there heads.

I get my actually musky rod back this week so i hear from the tackle shop. So i will be back in business with the big fish baits! None of this mini bucktail throwing and back to the 9" jerk baits"grin".

Anyways it was a great trip for my first time out with BBR and i look forward to many more great trips this fall.

From looking at both those bass how heavy do you think one is? My old school digital scale told me that my bass was perferct lb heavier than that smallie. Which makes the smallmouth seem way to light considering it was a river fish with the makings of a fall belly! 8)

Oh. And all bass were caught tagged "told they were it" and released... LOL

I watched a shore fishermen keep about a 2.5lb largemouth last night i almost cried :x

Probably better to tag it, release it and slowly let disease and infection set in than enjoy it for a nice meal.

Hahaha Markus!

Ok i think my scales were right. I checked out Icemans 4.2lber my bass was smaller. I think the reason i had big ideas about a medium sized bass is because that was my first keeper bass in a week! LOL Things better change this week its tournament time.
