Friday night fun

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Friday night fun

Post by Hoser »

Crazycrawler and I were trolling back to shore when she gets a good hit. I put the boat in neutral and start reeling mine in to get out of the way and I get nailed too. Double header going on. Good fight with the ultralights. Hers gets to the boat first and she freaks out. Her biggest pike ever. I have one slightly smaller on my line and trying to net hers without losing mine was a bit of a challenge because they were on opposite sides of the boat. Managed to get them both in the livewell.

Thanks to everyone for the pat on the back. Hoser and I had a blast. My pike was 5lb 4oz and was 30 inches long. You should have seen Hoser trying to net mine while trying to hold onto his! I am glad that both fish got into the boat! That is the only time that it counts right?

CC & Hoser,

Double headers, doubly impressive. I can't believe you got them both in successfully.

Are you mounting that one, CC?

W.
