Well I picked up my new boat Friday managed to get it out on the water for its inaugeral voyage today , I am extreamly happy the launch and the boat ride was great ,the reloading not so great its always been my job to drive the vehicle now I guess I'll have to get used to driving the boat on
Anyway the stats 2005 princecraft, Starfish DLX with a 40 hp Mercury 4 stroke
Can't wait to get it out next weekend at Charleston
Great news Mike! You look great at the helm. I hope you picked up a couple repair and matainence tips from phil.....not how to fix things, but how to aviod the problems in the first place.
Congrats - we haven't exactly had an easy time getting it back on the trailer either. We bought and installed trailer guides, which I highly reccomend, and also now drive up to the trailer, (but not on) and then winch it on rather than driving. Using the motor to power it on just hasn't worked for us no matter how straight we've had it lined up. So far winching it seems to be the key.
There are few problems in life which can not be solved with a well-placed, high-explosive projectile.
