basically anchoring out of the canal (dejardins), and if i dont find them, i'll start moving...
figured i'll start just after dark (10pm-ish)...
Gonna go till i get bored...
Sitting at the bar patio last night, it was just TOO beautiful around midnight NOT to go fishing...i almost went last night, after the bar...
not to mention how lit up everything is down there...

Good Luck tonight Steve.
I really don't know what to tell you, It really is pretty basic around this neck of the woods. Hook, Line, Sinker, and bait of choice. Cast it into the current, if there is one, and pray the fish gods are with you tonight.
I do beleive the edge of the faster current is the best bet to start, As with most fish they seem to hold around these areas waiting for food to drift by.
The most important thing to remember is to have fun. and bring a BIG net.

do u find the first hour after dark the most productive???
or if its slow at first, is it still best to 'wait it out'?

I was out Thursday night, picked up first at 7:30 and fifth by 9:30. Light didn't seem to make much of a difference.
Got first three on worms, last two on liver.
