This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by jig head »

Hey Everyone, Ive noticed that alot of people use spinnerbaits on this site so I was wondering what you favorite make of spinnerbait is. There are many different kinds such as Hustlers, Strike king, picasso, Booyah Etc.... Personally my favorite would be strike king I find that they are a very durable bait and they will last a long time. Whats your favorite???

in my personal opinion, what makes a spinnerbait great, is the ability to rip it at high speeds, without it spiralling...

i call it helicoptering...it just starts spinning...

my absolute favorite spinnerbait manufacturer is Nichols.

They cost a tiny bit more (8.99-12.99) but they are worth it.

I like Terminators (hooked on the titanium) but my all-time favourite spinnerbait has been discontinued. It was the Blue Fox "Roland Martin Big Bass" spinnerbait. Now that was a spinnerbait I loved.. now I only have one lonely, beat up one left in my box :(

My fav is the picasso titanium series. My fav Stainless would be Booyah.

I have many including strike king titaniums, mini-kings etc. But those are my favorite.

If I had to pick between those 2 it would be picasso by a long shot.

I love the ones by Strike King and Heart... also I'm dying to try some Booyah's.

My lucky one in my box has been this one:

(i tried to post it as an image but it didn't work for some reason

I picked it up from Ed's and it was recommended by Big O. I love the blades on it, and it has landed the most fish.

Trust me on this, Lightning Series Lures make a fantastic Spinner Bait!

They are manufactured by a Bass Pro in the Kawarthas and they are high end Pro grade baits that work!

My favorite spinnerbait is a white Hart red series. They have red hooks (owner) and red trailers. I have caught just about everything on these baits. I have a couple other spinnerbaits that I like to use in certain conditions but these are my litte secret :P (Furious got to see one last year but I'm hoping he forgot what it looked it) If you are interested in picking up some Hart spinnerbaits I know Ed has them at Paddletales but I don't of anywhere else to get them.
Thanks to my great supporters Deep River Outfitters, Shimano Canada and Hunters Bay Marine.
