no luck again......

Just back from huntsville area. Snowing while we were fishing. Threw every spoon in my box for the lake trout but no takers. Not the first time I have been skunked. I will be up in a couple of weeks to try for pike. Has anyone fished penn lake or know of a good pike lake. I am dying to get good fish on...girl fisher

Sorry about your lack of luck (& the snow)! But at least you got to GO. That is something to be thankful for, trust me!
You should try to hook up with Ladyfish; I think she's from your area.
Just today my husband told me, "You've got to find another chick to fish with." I wish you and some other lady Hawk Talkers were closer.

Girl-Fisher,
If you want big fish in our area, why not try Carp.
Head out to the Nith River in New Hamburg and fish the base of the dam with a few pieces of corn on the bottom... You'll have a 10lber. in about 5 mins.
