Calabogie trout lakes

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Thanks bobfly, I fished scully the same day as Shiner and spoke to a local who says that the Bass in the lake have all but depleted the lake of brookies. Any other lakes around there with anyluck.

Cheers

I obtained the stocking reports the other week and from the reports the MNR has been stocking Shiner Lake with Rainbows ('99 - '03). From what I've been told the MNR decided to switch to rainbows in order to open Shiner Lake to year round fishing.
