Thanks for the welcome, all. Near exit 10 wolfe :D

My wife told me if I wanted a new boat, quit smoking and save $50 a week so I could afford one. Well I quit. I think she still is in shock!

Pole-Lock,

Too funny! My home town is off exit 9! We (were) practically neighbors!

You're too far from Canadian fishing -- one of my biggest motivators for moving north!

I am so flabbergasted at how a sliver of a boat can hold up a behemoth engine like that. It visibly defies physics!! Do you break the sound barrier in that ride, Mikey?!

W.
Wolfe...I told my wife she's lucky I didn't meet her first hehehe!!! LOL....I guess you'd have to ask Scumking...he has no console on his side LOL! It's pretty funny to look next to you and see his face all contorted out of shape when I'm running full throttle hehehe!! But he's got a big smile on his face too LOL! I've owned a few boats, both tin and glass....and this is definately the most stable platformed rough water boat I have ever owned. Scumking fishes in the back and he is not small...and you don't even feel him moving around...it's like fishing in your living room hehehe!! Are they cheap on gas??? NO!...Are they cheap to maintain??? NO!! But one thing I have learned over the years of going through boats....buy what best suits your fishing habits...max out the horsepower of the hull whenever possible...and don't cut ends to save a couple of hundred bucks...cause in the end...you will not enjoy your boat....my theory on boats is as follows..."they are holes in the water you pour money into"...anyone thinking a boat is an investment...is fooling themselves. I detail and pamper this boat to death....but when me and Scumking are ripping down the river to the bayous....or my son is landing a fish in it.....it's all worth it  ...John....come on down for a weekend and the fishing and ride are on me

This was taken about 20 mins ago   I tried to get my daughter to smile but she didn't want her picture taken  she did want in the boat and wouldn't get out though so there's a good sign

This is my ride for now although i see an upgrade sometime within the next few years that's if the gas prices come down

SCUMKING! John stole your boat!!!  Nice rig John...but if you're gaging your upgrade potential on gas prices...you'll probably be downgrading hehehe!!! Better start hunting for a canoe!!!

John,

That is definitely a sweet ride speaking from experience.I have a slightly older version with a 40hp 2 stroke. As for Mikey's 361V I'm 46 and don't look a day older than 18.Once a week facelifts for the last 2 years at only the cost of the occassional hat or pair of sunglasses, not putting a console on that boat was cruel and inhuman punishment especially when it's below 5 celsius or raining(bullets).
