I talked to spinner yesterday and he's not going to be able to fish as he has had some back trouble recently. Jazman will be taking his spot in my boat JP.

4-5ft waves on the rideau are possible but i think the cruiser traffic will be light to non-existant on saturday

So who still needs a ride? I may have room for one if you don't mid 3 in a boat?

Can we place an order with Jake for super duper minnows in advance and have him bring them to the event? I know logistically this could be a pain, in the event someone doesn't show, but it would sure save me a heck of a lot of time.
(I'll be there, even Markus has to carry my boat! :D )

I'll be there promptly at 7:00 am and ready to hear how to catch em.. :D

Weeder and I did a little "batting practise" on the weekend. Here is the result.

It started off as a beautiful day.

I'll to leave the teasing up to Weeder. I was only the navigator, netter, picture taker, and chaufeur.

I didn't even have a follow. Weeder had 2 follows, 2 hits, and one catch. I think he's using my "secret" rigging.

I know you all want to know what it is.....don't ya.  You'll have to beat it out of me....but beware.......I have Snag in my boat to keep you all in line.

Get ready to rumble!!!

Ok only 4 more sleeps to go and then  muskie. Just thought I'd go over some stuff before the day so everyone knows what to expect.

Stuff u might want to bring;

1) rain gear(this time of year it can get nasty quick)
2) your boat   (if u have one)
3) your camera (for pics of me 8) :(
4) Extra treble hooks and bolt cutters(makes it easier on the fish to cut the hook then pull it out)
5) your stomac, for all u can eat later.

Just a note. Those looking for that Trophy, the legal size limit on the Rideau River is 44".

See u an saturday

To everyone
There is a Tim Hortons on River Road/Bridge Street in Manotick.
I think you can rent a coffee dispenser filled with coffee if anyone is interested for the seminar.

Yeppers! WIG and I are gonna rack up some serious points for Team 4!!!

And since I'll be arriving at the launch fairly early on Saturday, I'll bring some firewood to start a fire to keep us warm in the morning. So count on me for that part of it...

Anything else I should bring?
