Muskie outing?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Well since I just caught my first muskie on that exact stretch of water, I'm now a believer.

I'd love to participate...30th is great for me... But I'm boatless....so if anyone has room for me, I'd be more than happy to cover $ for gas, donation to the muskie fund, and supply Tim's... Heck I have a Big Tim's and it's gotta get more use *grins*

Anyway, long story short, I'd love to, hope someone can fit me in on their boat.

I'm in for sure! Never fished that late in the season before but be sure I'll be bundled but I'll be the first one with the coat off and up to my shoulders in water reaching in for a muskie!

Put me down for maybe - deer season starts 1 Nov and I may be tied up getting set up for that. Where exactly is this anyway? Where's Taylor Park?

Any chance to get this get-together moved to a location on the Ottawa River ? I think the oppertunity for real big fish greatly increases on the Ottawa this time of year. I know some of the guys coming from out of town would like to tangle with a 40lber. There are lots of great areas on the Ottawa that would support a large group. Lefaivre(sp) has a great launch and has lots of room for BBQ gathering after the fish.

Just thought I'd add my opinion. I'm in regardless.

I'm in on the 30th and looking forward to meeting everyone! I'm sure I'll be able to get Probassin and PENG to join me as they are my usual fishing partners!

I was going to PM you. If we are only 2 then you are welcome, tough to fish 4 in a Bass Boat! Warning though, I usually don't catch Muskie when I go Muskie fishing!

hehe Yeah, and as you know I'm not a small man *laughs*

Well no worries if you don't end up having the room but if you do it would be great.

And I don't mind not even catching a muskie...heck, no one's gonna look if we toss a few tubes into some weeds for a bass or two, right??

  :D
