Fishin Week-end on the Bay of Quinte Oct 15,16 & 17

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make the weekend, I'm trying to save a few bucks for bigger future plans.

Just used the cough, cough, sniff, sniff time the other day. Got the boat painted beautiful, the skidoo waxed, the bike repaired and the Silverado spit shined. The co-workers were wondering how the hell I got the sunburn when I got back to work.

I'll get down for one of these events eventually.

Good for you bunk! When their waxed they slide off the back of the trailer easier when you're pushing it off a cliff!

I'm just wondering what the limits are on Quinte for keeping walleye. I know there is a slot and a different limit but I can't find my regs. Not that I like to keep many fish but if I catch anything bigger than the 9-8 I have hanging on the wall (e.g. 13 or 14 lber. I know I 'm dreaming  ) I may have to get it mounted. Also a fish fry over the campfire might be just the ticket after a few wobbly pops. :D :D

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe you can use 2 lines on the lake side of the Glenora ferry (east) and out towards the lake. Only one inside the ferry (west side).

You cannot keep fish between 19" and 25" and just 1 over 25" or there is a slot limit between 48 - 63 cm with only (1) over 63 cm whichever you prefer. So if you catch your trophy you can legally keep it! and in a nutshell, no campfire fish fry unless they're 19"/48 cm or smaller  ...

If anyone is working this weekend and needs a can't fail excuse just use this one I've been using for years:

Hi Boss this Gordo. I can't make it in to work today, I have a problem with my vision. I can't see myself working today!
