Nice pics Peter. I remember the bloody laker pic was edited by someone and it looked much nicer
I would add another possible answer to the poll. I don't post because I don't go fishing a lot, and I fish for carp most of the time, which most people here are not interested in.

"The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

I am very interested in carp but more for the fact I have yet to get one. As for the bloody laker pic yeah someone cleaned it up nicely but I never copied that pic to keep. If it pops up again I will have to keep it. Much better then that one.bm_attar wrote:Nice pics Peter. I remember the bloody laker pic was edited by someone and it looked much nicer

Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.

For me it really comes down to 1 thing......time.....or lack thereof.
If I start to read a thread and it goes south I simply stop reading it and move on.....I have no interest in B.S.
I don't post too many reports because I target musky and I average only about 5 a year....but I'll have to check my post count once I submit this.

Hey,
I'm still a noob/newb/nube here and have posted a couple times. My posts are to show a nice fish that I caught as a result of the community. Odds are I would not have caught it if I had not asked what to do (since I obviously had the wrong set-up/idea).
F-H is good for the most part and since i usually stop reading or posting to stupid threads that "turns up the good and turns down the suck"

It is a delicate matter but I would say in the first place in regards to fishing reports that we must not confuse 2 things...bragging and passion.
A guy like 24/7 would go on and on about reports that are really well done and we see others with maybe less " meat" on it but it's all good because it was done under the same message...Passion for fishing..or in some cases like BA ...Passion for nature....it is the beauty of it all.
Obviously since Fish Hawk started years back we got to see reports that might have had the same style of presentations...with the same type of photos and so on.....but it is a special moment in time for the person who is posting and that as to be respected if done correctly of course.
most of the time the response will be the same also.." nice hawg", "Wow"
and so on.
You should not allways post because you expect an answer in return. You post for the beauty of what you have to share and for all to see...and the passion behind your post is the most important thing that you want to share.
Sometime people don't like what they see and will comment about it. They might not even like you. But this is Fish Hawk and it's fair....don't stop posting because of negative feedbacks....learn from them..sometimes the negative comments are right on!...and it's all good! But the passion about fishing...this is what keeps us together here...and like 24/ 7 said recently..I love everyone fishing with passion!

I dont know how to post pics, like my vote indicates.
I have come on a few times with the intention of figuring it out, but some stupid thread always distracts me. I have made atleast 6 people come into my computer room and read an entire thread. Often times they leave wanting the last 5 minutes of their life back. Some guys on here need to find a woman or get a dog. I think some of these guys were probably bullied through life, and they are trying to compensate on here.
Oh well, cheap entertainment. Keep it coming.

There is a photo section of some description on this site... but I find it easy to upload my photos to imagashack.us then follow these steps:
In your post press the "Image" button.

This will result in a tag that will look like this:

This is an image tag.
Next go to the page where you uploaded your picture. For this example I used imageshack.us but you can also do this with any picture that is on the internet, as long as "Hot Linking" was not disabled at the source site. Some use Photobucket, picasa and flickr...
At the up load page, copy the URL that they provide to directly access your uploaded photo:

Paste that link next to the IMG tag in your post:

Then press the IMG button again. This will "Close" the IMG tag... it looks the same as the first one except it has a forward slash "/" in it.

After you have done this, you will have the joy of including a picture in your post like this one I built for the example.

I think that there is a maximum number of pictures per post... I think it might be 6 or 8.. cant remember...
Good luck!

Here is a problem one member ran into explained:
This is how you had it:

It is the spaces between
whereas it should be ...jpg[/img]---------------
