Gordo/RJ's Ice Hut Project.....(Updated Dec. 11th)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

We cut 4 windows...2 in front....2 eye-level on the sides....

Birdee takin the food order....

So Birdee brings back subs for us and says...."I'll go out and get started on the painting".....OK!...Go ahead!...You go Girl!

20 Minutes later we walk out to find this...

P.S. No worries fellas....RJ nor Gordo hasn't gone fruity...(not that there is anything wrong with that... ).....That is Primer/Sealer....Another coat of that goes on.....then the Colour Matched "Sens" Red....then Black Stripes....

I figure it's the paint companies way of getting you to actually paint whatever it is you are painting with paint after the primer....because noone could stand that bright of pink!

I think it's awesome. As I was scrolling down before seeing the color and I was thinking black for added warmth, but pink oughtta bring in some ladies for warmth too. Or at least some of your more cozy and feminine buddies.

Good thinking. Whatta shack. :D

:) Well talk about displaying ones true colours...

Go Leafs Go!

ps. Don't listent to that Rod Monkey Scummer. We all know he's a dyed in the wool Leaf fan at heart.

ps. The structure looks good. Make sure you put a strong door on it for when you need to bolt outside to recover fish that couldn't come 25' within that colour scheme.

Leave it like that and call it the Pink Panther, all you would need is a brass pole in the middle, and you could charge "cover" :D ... I am sure there is some fine ladies in the Region that would be more than willing to work in such a fine establishment

So the conversation went something like this....

Gordo: Listen RJ you have to promise me that you won't post a picture until it is fully painted.

RJ: Nahh it will be fine. It's just the primer coat.

Gordo: Listen this is a very bad idea. Just wait a few days and we will have the red on it.

RJ: Nahhh what's the worse that can happen?

I would like it known that I totally objected to this posting... not that there's anything wrong with that! :D :D :D :D

:) Hang on a sec folks, we might need to re-think this one.

Maybe Gordo and RJ are on to something here.

Let's consider the benefits ...
a) No one will steal it.
b) No one will encroach on their spot )
c) No drunks doing 80mph on their sleds/pickup trucks will not see it.
d) An aid to navigation.
