TM - thx for your input. Believe me, Crestliners are not out of the question, but the fact that we can't get one dealer to return a call who is relatively close, and the other helpful dealer is 3 hours away is of a notable concern. We'd want our dealer close by for service issues.

SixStringHack, you and I are in complete agreement with regard to 1 console/windshield vs. 2 / walk-thru. I've been inside different models with both set ups, and I am loving the bonus room you get without the double windshield. To me, roominess was one of the top requirements, and it's like getting space for a whole extra person to cast. I like the openness, as you mentioned, and the ease with which you can get around. I know there will be times when I wished I had the windshield to huddle behind, but we've done without any windshield all these years, so no big deal....AND....I can always do the driving on those extra chilly, windy rides. :wink:
