This is neat.
I moved to Ottawa about 4 years ago from Sault Ste Marie. The only other places I had lived where even farther north.(chapleau and cochrane) When I first moved, despite living minutes from the river, I had no way(no car) or idea where to fish for the first 2 years. Having been a 3-4time a week fisherman up north I was crawling up the walls. Finally I met some fisherman and more recently was introduced to Fish-Hawk by Baitgirl. This is the greatest website ever.
I just graduated from The School of the Photographic Arts: Ottawa, so I guess you would say I'm a photographer. I learned on film, so I just got a digital camera 4 days ago... So many posts w/pics to come.(Hopefully)

We were talking about this at the Lake Kegalakishamilaki (still can't get it right), weekend.
Kpin can mean a lot of things. Keepin' busy, keepin' out of trouble but it's really short for Kingpin, a nickname I got from my early days of video arcade wizardry. It stuck, plus it looked good on the top 10 scores.
Currently, not working. I injured my tendons at work.
Have to say, I found FishHawk.Net by accident but I'm very glad I did. I've met some great folks and had some great outings because of it. It's the people that truly make this site great.

Wally is easy to figure out (my fav. fish) and the Boss part , it's not that I am, It's more what I'd like to be. And for some reason my wife's name is Wallyboss's Boss.
I work for Rogers Ottawa I am starting my 22nd year with them,so I have worked pretty well all departments, now I am in charge of keeping the HighSpeed internet running smoothly.

I played every sport I could during high school. One of my team mates called me Tomcat for short during one practice (probably because my family name is Thomas). Wasn't long after that, all my team mates were using the nickname. I believe I'm older than McQ by a few months. Before I retired in 98, I was an engineering management specialist. Got to attend NATO meetings for 15 years and that was absolutely the finest perk of the job! Now fishing is foremost. I particpate in a few fishing message boards and I'm a moderator for one.

Well,
I work in a gravel pit and i'm a guy so my nickname isn't original at all. My number in baseball was always 4 so i added it to my nickname. I'm a foreman at a sand and gravel pit and I like the work most of the time. Fly fishing is my favorite type of fishing but it makes things complicated with 2 people in the boat so i don't get to break out the fly rod much during the summer. As long as i'm fishing, it really doesn't matter.
