Birthday Muskie

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Thanks, again, everybody. I have to say, I can't wait to get out to try for them again. Is this the beginning of an addiction?!

Compared to all the unbelievably big muskies people on this board have caught and have been getting (& posting pics of) this summer, mine's a minnow. But there's just something about a muskellunge -- even one with diluted heritage! It's markings were really something.

Wolfe, that's the biggest tiger muski I've seen on the board...and it's bigger than any muski I've caught!! Take credit were credit is due. Great catch!

Bobber,

I'll have to consider my '05 goals and report back! I'll have a looong winter to ponder those thoughts!

However, as there is still plenty of time left in '04, I'll adjust my goals for THIS year to include a second tiger muskie. Hopefully a little larger!?

W.

PS: RJ - I am going to post a separate thread to Bacon to inquire about this tiger muskie you've mentioned twice now. I am intrigued... 8)

Way to go wolfe!! That is one fantastic birthday present! Happy b-day!

Hopefully I'll be catching one when I make my first attempt at musky fishing.

For whatever it's worth, Snag, I wish you luck! It's really a kick to get that first one! (Maybe you should try for them on YOUR b'day! )
