Remember the Torpedo? (Pic Heavy)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Thanks so much everyone! I've enjoyed hearing from all of you and really appreciate your responses and kind words. Thanks, too, to those who sent a note via e-mail. :D It's so nice to hear from other parents who are raising kids these days, in a world where so much is electronic or instant gratification-based, and trying to encourage and foster a love and appreciation for the outdoors. Someone told me that there is a battle going on for the lives of our kids, and I know just what he meant. So all of you with youngsters, keep on "fighting the good fight" and get them outside and looking around at all the wonders there are in the natural world. Can't beat that with any charge up device.

The awesome Torpedo has been felled by a lowly germ. He's home from school today. Maybe he'll get a substitute fishing fix and log on to FH later.

By the way -- YES -- Ty is still interested in sports / trading cards. He keeps his eye on ones that might be worth something and does a little buying / selling accordingly. He's interested in a future career in sports management. We'll see...

Have a great day, all!

haha, that's funny! Most of the Hawk Talkers did a great job of keeping it clean. It was appreciated, believe me. It wasn't lost on me. 8)

And yeah, the dude DOES know how to fish. :D
