Fishing Sunday at Petrie

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ok then

So what lures do work? Size/Color?
What locations am I failing to hit?

Advice?

I've heard (and respect) that its a Walleye Factory.....
Any insight as to how to actually catch them would be nice.

Thanks Wallyboss.

I have tried buckshots to no avail sadly.

Is it like Shirleys with a limited window for catching?

Boys, every thread I check out, there's this hair pulling, it's f'n sad, honestly. Could we set up a Fish-Hawk KY wrestling event and get it all out, so we can go back to talking poissons?

I've always had trouble at Petrie personally, but it most definitely could be that I didn't spend enough time moving around and trying new techniques.

That said, I've seen pics and heard of people having success there, I just can't tell you about it first-hand.

Some spots and most bigger walleyes are time of day related, but most spots are good all day long.
