Trout Farms near Ottawa?

Outaouais fish farm: I tried their phone number, I get "The number you have dialed is not in service".

If any of you have information to the contrary, I think we should assume that the place is closed.

There is OPEONGO MOUNTAIN TROUT FARM near Eganville and PURE SPRINGS TROUT FARM between Kingston and Belleville.

Opeongo has been closed for a long time now

Opeongo is not closed. They moved down the highway a bit. If you call ahead you can make an appointment. I took my kids and nephews there last summer. Sadly though, everything they had was around 1 lb. I remember as a kid they had multple ponds, but they only had one when we went.

Either way, we brought home 15 rainbows that were cleaned for us as part of the fee and I don't think we spend more than 45 bucks. Needless to say, my brother-in-law and I had a feast of bacon-wrapped stuffed rainbow trout broiled on the bbq with a side of mushrooms and onions from the skillet.

Wow thought it was closed for years -it used to be my favorite place to go - then i saw the website went down and I figured they were finished.. Do you have an accurate #??

Ah well. The sign is still up on Landry Rd. Figured they were open, just low key. Bummer.
