Lac La Pêche Gatineau Park

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

guys dont fool around with this lake.

guys are patroling almost everyday.

i got checked many times.

last year i was using my 14 tiny with my 9.9hp

and i got checked regularly.

i eman they opened up my 9.9's case just to make sure i didnt swap the cover.

if this year is elec only so be it.

i have a 12 ' topper.

ill gladly throw it over a fence and even a cayak, wind surfer and or tree hugger.

just respect the rules and everything will be ok.

also.

i all hear you talk about this lake but i didnt see any of you there.

i was there almost every day last year.

hope to see you there.

No this year is not only electric. I called this morning and was told about the ramp being closed. The person on the phone, said if I can carry over my boat, then my 9.9 hp and other gear, I'm OK.

Guess because of the people that have rights with their lease and maybe outboard motor, then they can not totally outlaw the engines, but restrict them to small HP and behavior (not full throttle).

Last year I was never checked, but most of the time I was using my electric, just trolling around and doing lots of catch & release with my brother and daughter.

If you saw these people on the Lake, then it was me, my brother and daughter.

Fine.

Just make sure that the canoers and kayakers stay the hell off of gas allowed lakes.

It would be nice to find a lake where you can't hear their high-pitched whine from one end of the lake to the other...

I have a plan for Lac Lapeche;

I will have a couple of electric trolling motors set up with 4x 12 volt batteries.... and a gas generator on board to keep them all charged.

Craig

so its not ok to have no gas lakes...? is that what you say craig.

actualy there is aplenty off no gas lakes all over the north america.canada or usa. and its ok...man look how mutch lake you can go wit a motor on it.. so put a lake wit no gas...its mabe 0.001 off the lakes not even..i dont think its to demanding actualy.

its just good for the nature the fisherires and the people.

you dont like to be on a lake wiotut motor noise.?

i am sher you do like it..man you are a landman..love the nature.

nothing more piecefull i would say.

nothing wrong using a bit off helbow juice to move around bud.

i still thinbk some lakes should be no motor...and actuasly they should be a lot more then what it is is now.

and you want kayakers and canoer to stay out off motoresize lakes..? is that right.

mmmm  ...i wont comment on this.

elect motor is fine in those lakes.

why is not ok to block gas motor..??

what about all those lakes in some parks that are no motr lake there not ok to.?

i wish people would try more a no motor outg to see the tranquility off it and see how piecefull it is..

there must be reason why there is so many lake witout motor in those parks like the algonquin and other parcs..would people would like to see those lake go motorize to.

great way to think 24/7..it wont stop you frome going and wil take your litle electric motor ,way to go.,,,grea way to troll off make your way to those weeds beds...

the prob they accept motor there for to long and people now are used to use there motor on them.

its the same thing on the meech lake i go there to paddle like the other few doz paddler everyday..but we still see a big boat every often and i can say say frome what i hear frome people is is not welcome at all on the lakes by most residant and just parc user.

if they could just make a gas motor witout noise and 100%..none polute then i would be ok.

joco..craig you are welcome to join me anytime..to come paddle and catch load off fish then go shooping for your own kayak after. after you fall in love wit it.

Thanks for the invitation Joco!

You need to know that I like to kid around joco. I actually support the no gas rules in many lakes. Lapeche is a BIG lake to have a no gas policy... but it will help preserve this nice lake and all its jelly fish.

I would like to be the only person allowed to use a gas motor in every lake around... but that aint going to happen.

... but joco... you have to admit... MANY yakers are annoying as hell!! walking around the boat launches in their spandex... with their little whistles hanging around their necks on lanyards... their Volkswagens double parked because; after all it is just a kayak and they won't take as long as a boat to launch...

As for the invite... you are very kind... but I'd rather take you in my little boat!

If I cant drive, I will NEVER bike (prostate crusher!), I'd rather walk.
If I cant boat, I will NEVER kayak, I'd rather swim.

Maybe that's just me!

Yakkers holding up boat launches should be considered problematic at best...... if not, who cares, right??
