reminds me of the lady who got her laptop stolen in Toronto while she was visiting a sick family member (the photos on the laptop documented her daughters struggle with cancer up until she died...and the guy does what?.......wipes the computer clean but some tech guys were able to save her pictures after the cops arrested the criminal). I hope things turn out for you in the end.Good luck.

Thanks all for the kind words and offers of help. I have posted an add in the classifieds here looking for a 9-15hp motor. I need to have something done as soon as possible so that I can complete my task for my dad. What really burns me is the tackle box. So much memories with it and all of it is gone. I was wondering on my way up there why the weather was looking so grim, all cloudy and gloomy when it was to be sunny but it must have been my father letting me know that I would not be enjoying my day.
The other thing is I am the type of guy as was my father that has no issues with people using my cottage at any time but you need to leave it as it was found. We always welcome people to it for a weekend if we are not there and even tell people to use the BBQ if fishing there for the day. I know some people use it and have no issue but to take things from someone who let's people use the cottage is pretty low. If anyone has been up in the last few weeks and remember's my motor being there let me know as I am trying to find a timeline to when it got stolen.
Again thanks to all for the kind words and offers of help. It makes me feel a bit better about the world we live in.

Fishing isn't a matter of life and death....
It's much more important.
