Musky in small lakes; A fantasy?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hi Guys

I have heard from several people there is a very small lake in that area with musky. The lake has private access though.

Musky in small lake

Post by Crow »

Wisconsin had a program back some 15 years with muskie, cleaning up the junk fish in the smaller lakes stocking skies. they can live 35 years, yes they are still there. chances they wont be huge but definitely sporting, may be 30 or more pounds. makes for a nice day on the water.u go ahead and try, knock on the door they are still there

I suppose that is part of the fun discovering new water... a little Forrest Gump-like; 'cause you never know what you are going to get...

Craig
Craig,
Just got back from The Lake (pond is a better word) and the skis' were following but not overly aggressive. The wind was making it really hard to stay on them. Going back up in two weeks to say "hello".
Life is like a box of lures........... :D
