Only once did I get burned and that was with my Rolex. But then I found out the problem is common on their watches.....which is they gain time.
Nice to know some folk spend upwards of $300k on a watch that doesn't keep time!
I am assuming you meant a 3,000 dollar watch and not a 300,000$ watch.
Rolexes are mechanical watches. Mechanical watches no matter how much you pay are not accurate and will gain or lose time.
If you want accurate get a digital timex.

You'll find lots of reputable supplies and dealers referenced on Fish-Hawk. In fact, you just did... (look one post up).
Seriously, there have been quite a few threads on this forum that have referenced outstanding customer service. I could name at least three local area bait & tackle shops and two or three marinas that have been called out for their excellent service.

There are several excellent mechanics in the area.
Most work for dealers:
Lorne Sugrue at Orleans Boat World
Andre Lalonde at Andre Lalonde Marine in Wendover
mikemicropterus - independant
They way to get good service is to treat the service people like you want to be treated.
Everyone wnats their boat fixed asap. And in a perfect world everything would be fixed once (if it even needed to be fixed.)
At this time of the year the weekend sailors are getting their boats out and finding things they need to take care of. They go to closest marine dealer and expect car repair type service. Ain't gonna happen especially if parts are required for a 1993 evinrude/johnson.mercury whatever.
