well... you cant beat it for consistent TROPY WALLEYE catchs. Having lived in the ottawa valley most of my life.. catchin 1-2 lbers (a 5 lber was HUGE) The problem i have now is catchin somethin small (under 5 lbs) to eat ...

There are lots of 5lb plus walleye in the valley too, but yes, you can catch lots of keeper walleye up here.

So if we compare this to the 18+lbs laker then we must be looking at at least 1.3lbs for the walleye

Where do you find these "years of fishing experience" scales Peter and is the cost the same as weighing...1 price or weight times two?

I don't know about best but finding 'eyes is no big secret.
Check out the Ontario Map Project on this site and you'll find lots of area lakes and approximate locations.

quinte hand downs .. held so many big eyes you know weighting fish (an other things) comes naturally.
